Do I need to bring anything?
Yes. You’ll need to bring your own storage device to save your digital creations when using some of the Makerspace equipment.
- VHS-DVD convertor requires a DVD-R. You will need one for every VHS tape you plan to convert.
- Video camera requires a 32-64GB SD card. We recommend an SDXC, Class 10 for optimal quality. If you don’t have an SD card, once may be checked out.
- The FASTphoto scanner, podcasting equipment and cassette-to-digital convertor require a USB flash drive/memory stick.
Is there an age limit?
Anyone 16 and older can reserve the studio. Those under 16 will need to have an adult 18 years or older in the room at all times.
How can I edit my video?
Laptops with Adobe Premiere Elements are available for in-library use. They can be checked out at the Information Desk.
Are there any fees?
The library charges 10 cents/gram for creations made using the 3D printer.
